Products for Refurbishing Cricut Mats

These products can save you 100's of dollars. Quit buying new Cricut Mats everytime they loose their stickiness. Frist spray Goo Gone on your mat let sit for about 10 to 20 minutes, then scrap with a scrapper. Next wash mat with warm soapy water, then dry. Apply painters tape to the outside green area around the mat. Then spray with Easy-Tac it does not take too much, just an even coat let set 10 to 20 minutes and its ready to use. I 've found that Goo Gone is more cost efficient than the Scrapper's Solution.

The Test Results Are In
I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and bought a can of Easy-Tac Repositionable Adhesive, to refurbish my Cricut Mats. I first removed all the old adhesive by applying the scrapper's solution let this set for a few minutes then scraped the mat with a cricut scraper. Then I washed the mat in warm soapy water to remove the excess solution, next I taped off the green border that I didn't want to apply the adhesive too. Then I sprayed a light coat of the Easy-Tac over the cricut mat. I let my mat sit over night, then tried it. It works perfectly, a can of Easy-Tac cost $7.59 minus your 40% off coupon final cost $4.55. I think that this is a big savings. One last note I pressed my hands to the mat several times just making sure that it wasn't to sticky before trying it. Hope everyone finds this helpful.
Thanks, Crafty Catty

Gift for Teacher
My grand daughter and I made these lollipop tealights for her teacher. We used Close To My Heart stamps. I used a plastic icing container for the base, and cardstock to cover it. Reminder the video for making these is at the bottom of my blog, so just scroll on down to learn how to make these lollipop tealights.
